A Look Into The Mysterious World of J.K Rowling

I created an author study on J.K Rowling for my Children's Literature course at Florida Gulf Coast University. I chose J.K Rowling because I absolutely fell in love with her Harry Potter series. Her writing style is one of a kind; her books are very hard t

o put down once you open the cover. My first experience with J.K Rowling was when I was 12 years old and I was given the first book of the Harry Potter 

series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. From the very first page of this book, I was pulled into the world of the young wizard, Harry and was immediately intrigued. Rowling made me, the reader, feel as if I was there along with Harry and his crew going through the obstacles and adventures with them. After the first book I was hooked and continued to read Rowling’s amazingly creative fantasy stories.
